The Ace Flight Pilots are Rob and Charlie
Rob (47) has been flying almost as long as the Tigermoth ! He has around fourteen thousand hours of flight time almost all of which have been gained in ‘real’ hands on aircraft and not in armchair airliners ,he has around two thousand hours flying Tigermoths! His aviation career started with a British Aerospace apprenticeship,after completing that Rob decided to Fly them instead of mending them.He became an instructor on both microlights and also light aircraft .Ferry flying and Corporate flying is where Rob has gained a massive amount of worldwide flying experience and has flown a dozen times across the Atlantic in small single engine aircraft.Rob holds both British and American professional pilot and examinar licences and Display authorisations for the Tigermoth and Beech 18.
Charlie (29) has around three and a half thousand hours and these have been gained by some very adventurous flying! He has crossed the Atlantic East and West bound on numerous occasions in a wide variety of General Aviation aircraft, and delivered aircraft all over the world. His last delivery job landed him in Uganda, East Africa where he was offered employment by the delighted customers. He spent two years with the company flying Aerobatic displays for MTN, Crop Spraying for Tilda Rice, and corporate flying in the companies Pilatus PC-12. Charlie will be only to pleased to enlighten you on some of these flying stories, you may however need to book one of the longer flying experiences!! Charlie holds British, American and Ugandan professional pilot licences and display authorisations
