Aerobatics Course

(primarily designed to make you a safer more aware aviator)

There is a lot of nonsense talked and written about aerobatics so why not find out the truth yourself, with our highly experienced instructors, refresh all those basic handling skills such as recoveries from unusual attitudes, slow flight, stalling, practice forced landings and all the basics that may have become a little ‘rusty’.

Quickly move on to basic aeros and most importantly recoveries from those that don’t work as expected!

Spin entries and recoveries (both erect and inverted {E300 only}) will be covered in depth. We follow the AOPA syllabus which on satisfactorily completing you will be able to safely fly your own routine and if you want move on to display aerobatics!

We can guarantee you that, allowing an hour for the ‘basic handling’ refresher, within 2 hours you will be able to loop and roll and spin, all the time knowing how to recover from any badly performed item!!

We like you to learn quickly and therefore cost effectively so come along for a morning/afternoon or the whole day. Our sorties are kept short, typically 40 mins so you are always fresh and not overloaded which allows you to be briefed, fly, de-briefed, relax then do it all again maximising your time.

We can offer our Tigermoth for classic aerobatics or a Basic modern trainer or by arrangement why not try your hand with an Extra 300L the ultimate aero machine the only public transport certified +10g -10g unlimited aerobatic aircraft.


LICENCE RENEWALS & CURRENCY CHECKS

We offer flight tests for PPL initials and renewals, IMC initial and renewals and your ‘flight with an instructor’ currency check (your aircraft or ours its not a problem).

Our in house examiner is experienced on various types from basic single seat PFA homebuilts to twin engine pressurized turbines.

PFA Aircraft flown range from the ubiquitous Taylor Titch and Nipper onto Emmeruade, Condor, Jodels onto the faster RV range.
And more general light aircraft from C152 to Extra 300 and Tigermoth to P51 Mustang.
